Operating theatres
At Mildmay we have a fully equipped operating theatre where two sterile surgical procedures can take place.
The operating theatre is equipped with stainless steel operating tables, operating lights to illuminate the operating field and anaesthetic machines.
The veterinary nurses are all fully trained in monitoring anaesthetics and where necessary assist the veterinary surgeons in the surgical procedures.
Surgical procedures that are carried out at Mildmay include neutering, tumour removals in cats, dogs and exotics. We also perform wounds repair and emergency operations.
We also carry out a range of soft tissue procedures such as laryngeal tie backs and thyroidectomy’s and a range of orthopaedic procedures such as fracture repairs, tibial plateau levelling osteotomy’s and cranial closing wedge osteotomy’s.
